Mary (Divisano) Delaney, 90 of Revere passed away peacefully at home.
Born in Cambridge, MA to Adolph and Frances (Reale) Divisano, She was the youngest of six siblings. Mary was loving stay-at- home mom who devoted her life to her family. She was the wife of the (late) Bill Delaney and mother of eight children: Billy, Bobby, Russell, Maureen, Lisa, Scott, Mark, and Ricky. She was also a loving "Nonni" to 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews.
Mary loved celebrating holidays and cooking her amazing Italian dishes for her family, attending or watching Daily Mass, and going to the Casino. When you asked Mary what she wanted for her birthday or Christmas her answer was always the same “Prayers”. Her selflessness, patience, and faith in God will continue in her family's loving memories.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph – St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street East Boston, MA on Saturday, August 26th at 10:00. Burial services will be private in accordance with her wishes.
