CHICOPEE – Daniel W. Goble, 77, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Friday, August 4, 2023. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Northampton on June 3, 1946, the beloved son of the late Claude W. and Lorena E. (LaBarge) Goble. He was raised in Holyoke, graduated from Holyoke High School and received his Associate’s Degree from Holyoke Community College. He lived on Beacon Avenue in Holyoke for many years, then moved to South Hadley where he lived before moving to Chicopee just last year. He was employed as a Lab Technician at the Dexter Paper Mill in Windsor Locks, CT. He was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee. He spent countless hours working on computers and surfing the internet. He also enjoyed traveling to Europe and to many destinations including Vatican City and cruising in the Mediterranean. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Carol A. (Gazaille) Goble. They were married on October 19, 1968 at the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee and were blessed with over 54 years of happiness together. He also leaves his two loving children, Laurie A. Storey and her partner, Joseph Mastroianni, of Chicopee, and Timothy C. Goble and his partner, Felicia Beasley, of Whitehouse, TN; his loving daughter-in-law, Kippa Goble of Colorado; his five cherished grandchildren, twins, Andre and Jerid Deprey, and Kayla, Jacob, and Lindsey Goble; his dear brother, Thomas Goble of West Springfield; his two dear sisters, Brenda Mills and Darlene Goble, both of Chicopee; his dear sister-in-law, Klara M. Gazaille of Chicopee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved son, Daniel T. Goble. His relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 9 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
