Maureen Ellen McDermott of Chester, NH passed away peacefully Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at home surrounded in love with her family. She was born on September 22, 1947 in Malden, MA to Thomas and Pauline (Thibideau) Keane.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. McDermott of Chester; son, Robert McDermott and his girlfriend, Katie Adams of Northwood, NH; daughter, Kerri McDermott of Kingston, NH; granddaughter, Hadley McDermott; grandsons, Robbie and Conor McDermott; Laken Adams and Landon Beattie; sister, Christine McNeil of Malden, MA; brother, Martin Keane and sister-in-law Marie Keane, of Atkinson, NH; sister-in-law, Lois Knight of Saugus, MA, several beloved nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
She has been reunited in Heaven with her Mother, Father, brother Tommy, sister Kathleen, nephew Michael, brother-in-law Donny, brother-in-law Danny, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Pat, son-in-law Phil, her grandparents and lost angel Gregory Lawson. We trust they will keep her in love and comfort until we can be with her again.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
