Jerry R. Staggs, 81, of Londonderry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 4, 2023, in his home. He was born on November 5, 1941, in Hohenwald, TN, a son of the late Earl and Ada (Mitchell) Staggs. Jerry was a resident of Londonderry for 46 years, formerly living in Littleton, MA.
He worked for HP/Digital Equipment for over 40 years. He was an aspiring playwright and had several of his plays produced. In the early 1980s he and his wife Shirley were avid square dancers and active in the music and drama club in Londonderry.
Jerry is survived by one son and his wife, Michael and Wendy Staggs of Londonderry, NH; his domestic partner, Cynthia Litchfield; and her children Kate (Ben Sisneroz) and their two children Ben and Bryan and Bryan Litchfield (Gretchen) and their daughter Addison. Jerry was predeceased by his wife Shirley Staggs.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held by the family at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Londonderry on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at 3:00pm.
