Christopher L. “Wood” Woodley, 47, of Wrentham, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 2, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Charlotte M. (DeLuca) Woodley since 2011.
Born in Boston on March 6, 1976, he was the beloved son of James B. Woodley of Sunapee, New Hampshire and Lenore M. (Marciniak) Woodley of Norfolk.
Chris was a resident of Wrentham for the past 8 years and formerly resided in Norfolk. He grew up in Westwood, graduated from Westwood High School in 1994, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UMass-Amherst in 1999.
Chris was a self-employed electrician and landscaper, owning his own business for many years.
Chris was a car enthusiast and loved riding dirt bikes and quads. He was also an avid skier and snowboarder.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter Cassidy Rose Woodley of Wrentham, his stepdaughter Toni Marie Stula of Wrentham, his stepbrother David Sheppard and his wife Camille, and his stepsisters Nancy Glynn and her husband James, and Susan Sheppard.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank and Janet DeLuca of Douglas, his sister-in-law Michelle Bixby and her partner Steven Snell of Norfolk, his brother-in-law Frank DeLuca and his wife Courtney of Millis and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 8 from 4 -7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Graveside services will take place privately at Norfolk Cemetery.
