Debra M. (Young) Johnson, age 61, of Attleboro Falls, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the Medway Country Manor in Medway.

Born in Brockton, MA on May 21, 1962, she was a loving daughter of the late Everett L. “Dusty” and Beverly A. (Richards) Young.

Debbie grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield and was a 1980 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. For many years, she worked as a waitress at several area restaurants including Café on the Common in Mansfield and the A & J Restaurant in North Attleboro. Debbie’s greatest gift and joy in life was her cherished family. She worked ever-so hard to raise and support her children and later in life was blessed with two granddaughters, who meant more than anything else in the world to her. Debbie was also an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed attending her family’s auto racing events, crossword puzzles, shopping and spending time and creating lifelong memories at White Horse Beach in Plymouth, which was truly her sanctuary.

She is survived by her devoted children: Cortney L. Johnson and her husband Joseph of Attleboro Falls and Brian G. Johnson of Attleboro Falls. She was the treasured and very proud grandmother of Kyleeann G. Johnson and Brielle R. Johnson. She was the dear sister of the late Glen Young. She was the former wife of the late Douglas Johnson.
