BILLERICA - Pamela T. (Cristaldi) DeLucia, 91, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on Monday, July 31 at her residence at Benchmark Billerica Crossing in Billerica. She was the widow of the late Joseph S. DeLucia, who passed away in 2011 after sharing 58 years of marriage.
She was born on July 20, 1932, in Woburn, MA. A daughter of the late John Cristaldi and the late Adeline (Zanello) Cristaldi, she was raised and educated in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School. Shortly after high school, she married the love of her life, Joseph, and together they began to raise a family in Tewksbury.
Pamela was an esteemed member of the Red Hat Society, the Tewksbury Senior Center, and a devout communicant of St. Dorothy's Church, where she was active in the church choir and found fulfillment in volunteering for her children within the Tewksbury school system.
She had many passions in life – making ceramics, birdwatching, square dancing, and especially camping with the Apple Corps RV Group. Her infectious smile endeared her to everyone she met, and her home was the envy of all the other kids, who couldn't wait to spend time there. She will be dearly missed, but her joyful spirit will live on in our hearts.
Pamela is survived by her three children, Louis J. DeLucia and his wife, Wendy Rosenbloom, of Manchester, NH, Debra-Ann Giguere and her husband, Richard, of Lowell, and Jo-Ann Isnor and her husband, John Isnor of Bedford. She also leaves behind her seven beloved grandchildren, Jonathan DeLucia and his wife, Amy, Concord, NH, David DeLucia of Concord, NH, Jason Giguere of Wyoming, Renee Hallahan and her husband, Mike, of Dracut, Amy Melendez of Lowell, Johnny Isnor of Bedford, Kimberlie Isnor of Woburn, her cherished eleven great-grandchildren, and one precious great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her siblings, the late Jerome Cristaldi, the late James Cristaldi and the late Ann Wood.
All are welcome to attend her visitation from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 4, at the TEWKSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 1 DEWEY STREET, TEWKSBURY, MA 01876. Her funeral service will be held the following day on Saturday, August 5, in the funeral home at 11 a.m., with a procession to follow for burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
