Rebecca “Becky” Montgomery Falotico, 73, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Memorial Chapel of Tifton’s First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Curtis Falotico officiating. Harold Chambers will give a eulogy. Mrs. Falotico will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Memorial Chapel of Tifton’s First Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Bert Montgomery, Mike Montgomery, Donnie Purvis Jr., Paul Wright, Balen Falotico, Jason Dishler, Allen Barnhill and Russ Wood will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Chambers, Lee Edmondson, Donnie Purvis Sr., Chad Hancock, Steve King, Lee Browne and members of the Seekers Sunday School Class at Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Born February 21, 1950, in Americus, Mrs. Falotico was the daughter of the late Robert Frederick Montgomery, Sr. and Juanita Smith Montgomery. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Juanita Crews. She was employed with Central Jewelers in Tifton and she was a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church. Previously, she also volunteered with CASA and Hospice of Tiftarea.
Mrs. Falotico is survived by her husband, John Falotico of Tifton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Maria Falotico and Anne and Patrick Thompson, all of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, John Curtis and Hope Falotico of Tifton; two brothers, Robert Frederick Montgomery, Jr. of Smithville and Bobby Pink Montgomery of Americus; one sister, Oden Montgomery Grube of Durant, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Annabella Falotico, Sara Amelia Thompson, Rick Thompson, John Wood, Michael Wood, Charlie Wood, Balen Falotico, Chandler Falotico and Anthony Falotico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
