Judith Virginia (Fleming) Barnett, 86 years old, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023, in the presence of her loving family, following a lengthy illness.
Judith was the daughter the late Robert and Margret Bernice (Gardiner) Fleming of Boston, MA. She resided in Roxbury where she met the love of her life, Kenneth Barnett. Judith and Kenneth created a beautiful life for their family in Bellingham.
Judy was employed and retired from Corning Medical in Medfield where she made life long friends. She loved nature, gardening, music, history, and the arts. Her home was always bustling with friends and family, none of whom ever went home hungry. She was a devout catholic and longtime parishioner of both St. Blaise and St. Brendan’s Church.
Judith was joined in spirit by her loving husband Kenneth, Brothers Richard Fleming, Robert Fleming, and Kenneth Fleming.
She is survived by Brothers Thomas Fleming and Dennis Fleming of Bellingham. Daughters, Constance Wolf and her husband Bruce of Milford, Kathleen Boutchia and her husband Thomas of Bellingham and Carolyn Duhaime and her husband Jeffrey of Bellingham.
Blessed with grandchildren, John Barnett, Nichole Mitchell-Marchand, Kelly Tomlin, Brooke Nelson, Miranda Barnett, Heather Best, Jeffery Duhaime, Sara Gallagher, and Kenneth Boutchia.
Great grandmother to Stephen Mitchell, Andrew Nelson, Nicholas Barnett, Nathan Best, Tyler Best, Alexander Nelson, Johnny Barnett, Gabrielle Nelson, Jenna Barnett, Jack Barnett, Parker Best, Rowan Best, and Elliana Duhaime. Great-great grandmother to Zachary Emerson-Nelson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday August 7th at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Brendan Parish 384 Hartford Avenue Bellingham, at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin, MA.
