Anna M. (Rege) Urciuoli, age 83, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly on August 1, 2023 at Heights Crossing in Brockton. She was the devoted wife of the late Orazio Urciuoli for 59years. Anna was born and raised in Dorchester, a daughter of the late Romeo and Mary (Macrelli) Rege.
A graduate of All Girls High School in Roxbury, Anna was the administrator of the Building and Grounds Department at Stonehill College for over 23 years.
Anna was proud of her Italian heritage and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling. Her favorite past-time was folding laundry while watching Rick Steves in Italy. Anna will be remembered as a quiet and elegant soft spoken lady who loved time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Anna was the mother of Anthony Urciuoli of Los Angeles, Carlo Urciuoli and his wife Alison of South Easton and Andrea Urciuoli-Hobkirk of North Easton. She was the loving grandmother of Mia and Mikey Urciuoli and Roman and Lucas Hobkirk. She was also the sister of Louie Rege of Milton and Ronald Rege of Plymouth and the aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton on Saturday August 5 from 2-4 pm followed by a funeral service in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton on Monday August 7 at 12:30 pm.
