Sheila L. (Fisher) Troy, 87, of Worcester, transitioned from this life on Saturday, July 29th, while surrounded by family at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late George and Charlotte (Dyer) Fisher. She is survived by four sons Lamont Troy, Walter Troy, Keith Troy, Anthony Troy; three daughters, Alicia Troy, Renee Troy, and Mia Troy-Davidson (Tim). Sheila also raised Dyer siblings, Alisa Thomas (Mario) and June Seay (David), and for a short time – Earl Dyer. She leaves behind her sister Vonda Moore and her brother, Carthur Fisher (Lynn) to cherish her memory. She had a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly. Prior to her heavenly ascent, she made her home with her granddaughter Nicole and great-grandchildren Malea, Bryce, and Eva.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter, and brothers Phillip Fisher and Floyd Fisher.
She was an accomplished homemaker, cook, entertainer, card player, and an avid fashionista. As a world traveler, her journeys took her to countries across Europe, on cruises, and throughout the country.
She will be fondly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 5th with a service at 12:00 p.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service in the funeral home.
