Obituary

Ralph Charles Carignan, 72, passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2023. Ralph was born in Manchester on June 2, 1951, the son of Henry C. Carignan and Pauline (Lemoine) Carignan.

Ralph grew up and attended schools in the Greater Manchester Area, graduating from Pembroke Academy in 1969, where he was the captain of his soccer team. According to his senior yearbook, his prize possessions were his family and friends, which continued to be true his entire life. He enjoyed playing cribbage and was a member of the cribbage league at the Deerhead Sportsman Club.

Ralph is survived by his daughters; Barbara I. Kirkpatrick and her husband John of Winchester, MA, Charlene A. Brack and her husband Al of Penacook, NH, Christine M. Barnhart of VA, Dale P. Berube and her husband Joshua of Warner, and his son, Ross M. Carignan and his significant other Kristen Spekhardt of Hooksett,NH. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren; Kathleen, Lillian, Shannon, Stephanie, Brendan (Kayla), Brianna, Alex (Liv), Cody (Caylee), Levi, Victoria, Timothy (Caitlin), Craig, Lucas, Cadence, Riley, Jason, and Michael, one great grandson (Thaddeus) and one great granddaughter (Baker Kate), and his siblings; Darlene Wenblad, William “Billy” (Laura) Carignan, Stephen Carignan (Sue Pivin), John-Alan (Lori) Carignan, Sandra (William) Butler, Walter (Beth) Carignan as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ralph was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Wendy L. Powers, his daughter Katie L. Carignan and his grandson Shawn S. Frye.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge Street (Corner of Pine), Manchester, NH.
