Mrs. Jacqueline M. (Demers) Robinson, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late John J. Robinson, passed away at the Brigham Health & Rehabilitation Center in Newburyport on Friday morning, July 28, 2023. She was 85 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on July 6, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Agnes (LeVecque) Demers. Jacqueline was retired from Parlex Manufacturing as a Supervising Accountant.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-law; Neil R. Robinson and his wife Susan K. Sughrue of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, David J. Robinson of Andover and Dean E. Robinson and Sharon of Yorba Linda California, grandchildren: Justin, Nicholas and Matthew Robinson, Mark, Elizabeth and Xavier Labbe and Alexandria Dupras; great-grandchildren: Jonah, Maya and Emelia Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Roland, Robert, Eleanor and Lorraine Demers.
In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoyed travel, time with family, many crafts and had a unique way of making everyone feel loved, appreciated and at peace. To be in her presence was as tranquil as any forest, waterfall or seaside escape.
As a mom, she made a home, with her husband John, which was a sanctuary for their three sons from the outside world. They always felt loved, accepted and appreciated for being themselves. No matter what trials and tribulations came their way, home was always a safe place to be at the end of every day.
Jacqueline had a quick wit, contagious laugh, and could dispense perfectly timed eye rolls- should the occasion ever arise. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, please enjoy an ice-cream cone in a peaceful spot and think about what an amazing gift life is. That is what Jackie would have wanted!
