David Guarino passed away at the Lahey Clinic on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. He was 58. A Wakefield resident in recent years, David was raised in Medford. He was a loving father to Lyla and Gianni Guarino, both of Stoneham. The beloved son of Ernest and Elizabeth (Anderson) Guarino of Medford, David was the devoted brother of Karen Guarino of Melrose. He was a dear uncle to Matthew Guarino Moscaritolo. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and the mother of his children, Jen Moreira.
Over the years, David was a manager in several retail establishments, successfully carrying out his obligations in a kind and gentle manner. He worked hard all his life to take care of the people he loved. David had a positive attitude towards life and always made his family, whom he loved deeply, his top priority. He was also an avid sports fan, being loyal to all of the Boston teams, especially the Patriots. He attended Boston College High School, graduating in 1983, followed by attending Tufts University.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, August 4th from 10 – Noon with a funeral service celebrated in the funeral home at Noon. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
