Paul Norkus, 69, passed away Tuesday June 27th. Paul was born on February 2nd 1954, in Weymouth MA. He was raised in Rockland and graduated Boston College High school in the class of 1972. He was the beloved husband to the love of his life Carloyn (Chandler) Norkus for 50 years. Paul was the loving father of Jannelle Ledoux (Michael Ledoux), Allyson Norkus (John Willette), and William Norkus. He was also the adored "Papa" to Madyson, Skylar, Preslee, Mercedes, Becca, Kenzie, and Hunter. Paul was truly the definition of a "family man" and ensured he took the time to create special moments with his loved ones. Vacationing with his family in the White Mountians of New Hampshire, Indian Head Resort holds many years of treasured family memories with his loved ones. Air shows, Monster Truck rallies, and Wresting events with his son William. Early mornings of playing Play-Doh with his granddaughters at the kitchen table, watching old cartoons. Annual Cape Cod trips with his family mini-golfing, and sitting by the pool. He passes on so many loved family recipes to be replicated, but will never quite taste the same. His Meat Stuffing, Kugeley, and Heal-all Noodle Soup to name a few. He had a green thumb that stretched far beyond gardening, and sitting outdoors with nature was one of his favorite places to be. Paul knew how to have a good time, always enjoying himself at family cookouts and partys. He was a man of few words, but those that he spoke held great importance to his loved ones. When heard, his booming laughter, brought a smile to everyone who was near. There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony held at Channing Unitarian Church, to be scheduled at a later date.
