Following his sense of duty and patriotism, Roy served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. His commitment to his country was an emblem of his dedication and loyalty. After his service, he pursued his creative inclinations and attended art school. As a graphic technician at Boston Children's Hospital, he poured his artistic talent into his work, leaving a lasting impact on both colleagues and the young patients he encountered. As Papa, he shared a special bond with his beloved grandchildren, Jack and Kaylin. He was especially proud of Jack’s talent in baseball and hockey, and Kaylin’s dedication and skill in gymnastics.
When not working or spending time with family, Roy found joy in his various hobbies.
