Florence Clement, 84, of Haverhill, MA, died Thursday July 27, 2023 in Aspen Hill Nursing Center in Haverhill. She was born on November 5, 1938 in Birmingham, England and had been a resident of Haverhill for the past 1 1/2 years.
Flo, Gram, or mom, as she answered to all three, regardless of who you were, enjoyed her passions for sewing, love for her dog and satisfying her sweet tooth. She would not want anyone to think of her as gone, but rather, embrace the notion, her journey has just begun. As she crossed into her resting place, she was not frowning, but shared one last tear of joy with all that loved her and peacefully embraced her eternal destination.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Batten of Salem, NH, and Barbara Palazzo of Amherst, NH; son, Paul Clement of Everett, MA; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Woodfield Hogan and her husband Randy Hogan of Alberta; Canada. She was predeceased by her husband Alan Clement in 2008, and her son, Phillip Clement.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday, August 4th from 5 – 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, in E. Derry.
