Ann Marie Vasington-D'Anjou, 62, of Londonderry, NH, died peacefully, Wednesday July 26, 2023, in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, surrounded by family.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, Marc D'Anjou; two sons, Nicholas D’Anjou and Phillip D’Anjou; daughter, Jessica D’Anjou; brother, Paul Vasington and his wife Erin; sister, Carol Vasington Lee and her husband Bill, as well as several nieces, nephews, beloved pets Banner, Milo, Merlin, and other dear friends and family. She was pre-deceased by her parents Paul and Shirley (Mauzerall) Vasington.
She was born on May 19, 1961, in Washington, DC, and was raised in Pearl River, NY, and Norwood, MA. She met her husband Marc while attending Lasalle College and later obtained a certificate in administrative studies from Aquinas. Ann loved crafts of all kinds but was fond of making beautiful greeting cards to share with family and friends, as well as scrap booking. Ann loved the ocean and enjoyed travelling to tropical islands. Disney World held a very special place in her heart and many happy memories were made at Disney's Old Key West Resort. When not on vacation, Ann would spend her time reading romance novels and cooking. Ann was a strong advocate of special needs rights! She spent a lot of time helping other special needs families navigate this challenging world.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Monday, July 31, 2023 a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist, 1 South Rd, Londonderry.
