Frederick P. “Rick” Murray, III, 65 of Chester, NH died on Friday July 21, 2023 at Mass General Hospital, Boston, MA following a sudden illness. Rick was born in Tewksbury, MA on December 25, 1957 a son of Carole (Lussier) Goodrich, and the late Frederick P. Murray, Jr.
In addition to his mother and her husband, Robert of Titusville, Florida , he is survived by his wife, Lori Potter of Chester, NH, three daughters, Fawn Armstrong and her husband, Chad of Kentucky, Amber Murray of Epsom, NH, and Brooke Murray of Kentucky, two step-daughters, Elizabeth Eleftheriou and her husband Peter, and Samantha Marotte and her husband Brendon, both of Chester, eight grandchildren, Hadley, Reata, Cohen, Rayne, Ellie, Cassie, Leo, Bodhi, and one expected grandson on the way, Truitt Frederick, three siblings, Greg Murray and his wife Allison of Goffstown, NH, Scott Murray and his wife Diane of Florida, and Debra Loveren and husband Rick of Goffstown.
Rick was a man of many talents, there was nothing he couldn’t do. He owned and operated Screaming Wolf Enterprises, a custom framing company, and was well known in the area for his business Screaming Wolf Wildgame Processing. Rick was an avid hunter, fisherman, and lobsterman. He will be missed greatly in the hunting world as he was a legend amongst them.
Actually, there is not enough time to write about Rick’s sudden passing. Our family was not expecting him to leave so soon. He was bigger than life and had a heart of gold. He died doing what he loved on a fishing boat and will be forever missed and loved by his wife and family.
Peace out, Wolf.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, the family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
