NORTH WATERBORO- Lindsey Ann Wagoner, was born on October 9th, 1978, in Fort Worth, TX and passed away on July 20, 2023, in North Waterboro, Maine at the young age of 44.
Born a proud Texan, Lindsey and her family moved to Arizona in 1992. She attended and graduated from Peoria High School in 1997. While in school she had a passion for softball, basketball and student leadership.
She stole hearts with her infectious laugh and smile, sarcastic humor and zest for life. She had many interests including art, painting, music and of course, politics. Her free and contagious spirit charmed all who knew her.
She forged a path of equality; spiritually, socially and politically for many years before today’s norm. She held strong beliefs and never let anyone change her mind. Lindsey was nomadic by nature, always searching for new places, people and ideas. She loved animals and was always looking for ways she could help.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandma, Betty Lou Wagoner and grandpa, William Harvey Buttrill. She is survived by parents, Durran and Cynthia Wagoner; siblings, Brandon Wagoner and wife Samantha, Michael Wagoner, Ashley Wagoner; nieces, Grace Wagoner, Paisley Wagoner; nephew, Jacob Wagoner; Grandparents, Burl D. Wagoner and Dorothy Buttrill; cousins, Jon Wagoner and Jenna Wagoner and many others; biological mother, Jan Cairns; other siblings, Tiffany Shelburn and Haley Smith; many aunts, uncles and countless friends.
