Doris M. Scotti, 101, of Roberts Way, North Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday July 18th in Roberts Health Center, North Kingstown.
She was the wife of the late Daniel Bernard Scotti. They had been married for 68 years.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Wilfred L. and Julia B. (Maloney) Magnan. She was a long-time resident of North Kingstown having previously lived in Smithfield for 34 years.
She was an avid gardener and expert seamstress. Doris especially enjoyed sharing her skills and the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her joy. She loved spending time with her family and they with her. When she wasn’t with her family, she loved completing word search puzzles, playing bingo, and doing crafts. She was also active in her community, serving on the Smithfield Zoning Board for 27 years.
She leaves her children, Daniel B. Scotti, Jr. of Taunton, MA, Denise M. Snee of Virginia Beach, VA, 3 grandchildren Daniel, Katherine, John, and 2 great grandchildren Conner and Jacob.
