Emilio Palladino, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, July 23rd. He was 86. Born and raised in
Montemiletto, Italy, he was the cherished son of the late Joseph and Maria (DeLio) Palladino.
Emilio had a passion for gardening. He had a natural green thumb, his lawn was meticulously taken care of and he was always on the lookout for those pesky weeds. A natural people person, Emilio loved everyone (especially his neighbors), and they loved him. No matter how long, where or when you met Emilio you were instantly connected. He was everyone’s friend, and his sense of humor, caring personality, and his ability to help anyone made him one of a kind. Emilio’s biggest passion was his family, they were his world. He was a loving husband, caring father, the best Grafa and Nonno. He will be greatly missed.
Emilio was the beloved husband of the late Antonietta (Sacco) Palladino. He was the devoted father of Maria Palladino and the late Joseph Palladino. Emilio was the loving Grafa of Susana Mejia and her husband Sean. He was the caring great Nonno of Anthony, Dominic and Brianna. Emilio was the dear brother of Christina Barletta and her husband Patsy, and the proud owner of his fur puppy Walter.
Emilio’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, July 29th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family on Friday, July 28th, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
