In Loving Memory

April 10th, 1950 – July 19th, 2023
Our family shares a large heartbreak as we announce the passing of our beloved Father, David Matthew Winslow, 73 of Manchester NH. David peacefully took his last breaths as he walked through the gates of Heaven surrounded by his family on July 19th, 2023. David was born in Concord NH on April 10th, of 1950 to Jeweline and John Herrick Winslow.
As an adolescent, he grew up being one of 14 brothers and sisters and he worked on a dairy farm in Rhode Island to help his mother take care of the family. He had a life long profession of autobody, where he mastered the art of rebuilding wrecked vehicles and painting cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He was joyful, witty and had a never-ending database of Dad jokes.
David loved his family, and he taught them the love of Jesus. He enjoyed riding his harley, shooting pool, camping, fishing and cracking jokes to make a new friend. David is survived by his lifelong spouse, Virginia Winslow, first born daughter, Veronica Marcoux and her husband Ernie Marcoux. He also leaves behind two sons; Jeremy and Matthew and their spouses Rachel and Brittany. David also had five grandchildren and was blessed with 3 great grandchildren. David had a big and loving family who all loved him very much.
Heaven needed another soldier, one who was committed to Gods work. David believed that death was just the beginning of our real life. Because of David, so many have decided to follow God.
He was a true beacon of love and light.
Jesus, please take his hand and fulfill the will of the Father. Amen
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in Pine Grove Cemetery in Weare at 10:30 am.
