Mrs. Paula (Corbett) Thrower, a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire and beloved wife of the late David Thrower, passed away on July 8, 2023. She was 69 years old.
Paula was raised in Medford, Massachusetts a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden and the Malden Hospital School of Nursing. A retired Registered Nurse she worked for the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, the Malden Hospital and Genesis of Brookline, for many years. In her spare time, Paula loved watching the Patriots, spending time laughing and enjoying life with family and friends and traveling the world with her late husband David. She is remembered for her generosity, quick wit, and an exceptional ability to bake delicious treats, her pumpkin rolls were loved by all. She and her amazing pumpkin rolls will be dearly missed by so many.
Paula is survived by her loving Sister Patricia DiBlasi and her husband Joseph DiBlasi; Brother-in-law Bill Thrower and wife Chris, Sisters-in-law Sue Stalnecker, Elaine Souchak and Ruth Corbett; Niece and nephews; Michael Corbett of Leominster, Michelle and her husband Kevin Buchanan of Tewksbury and David DiBlasi of Spring Hill, Florida, and great-nephews; Colin and Sean Buchanan and Darius and Emmanuel DiBlasi. She is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends whom she loved. Paula was also the sister of the late Andrew Corbett.
Paula is now at peace joining her parents Michael and Audrey Corbett, husband David Thrower, and brother Andrew Corbett. That is one fun party re-united!
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, prior to the service, from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Donations in Paula’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
