Rose M. Saulnier (LeBlanc) of Winthrop passed away on July 19, 2023. She was 92 years old. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Louis P. Saulnier. Born in Mavillette, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the cherished daughter of the late Bazil and Helene (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Rose loved cooking Rappie Pie, quilting, dancing at the French Club and being with her grandchildren for all their birthday parties and events.
Rose was the devoted mother of Linda Coles and her husband Robert of Bedford, NH, Donna Wood and her husband Randall, of Manchester, NH, Alan Saulnier and his wife Janice of Derry, NH, Philip L. Saulnier of Pepperell, Brian Saulnier and his wife Kris of Blackstone, MA and Carol M. Saulnier of Winthrop. She was the adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Rose was the dear sister of Angelina Kaulback of Nova Scotia, Canada. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, on Tuesday, July 25, from 9:45-11:45AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church (St. Michaels Parish)-Winthrop at 12:15PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105.
