CHICOPEE – Paul E. “Paulie” Landry, 52, of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, July 16, 2023. He passed into Eternal Life at Hartford Hospital surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on August 2, 1970, a beloved son of the late Roland and Elaine (Fontaine) Landry. He was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Hauler for Ondrick Materials and Recycling, Inc. in Chicopee. During his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, working on cars and cheering on the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his two cherished sons, Justin P. Landry and his partner, Nairobi Colon-Alvarez, and Kyle P. Landry, all of Chicopee; and his many dear extended family members and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his dear sister, Lisa Landry; and his sons’ mother, Sarah Y. (Belanger) Platt. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private.
