Edward Ernest Aaron Fletcher, 81, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Mr. Fletcher will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born January 22, 1942, in Adel, Mr. Fletcher was the son of the late Charles Fetcher and Lou Annie George Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Mae Steadman Fletcher; and one son, Dave Aaron Fletcher. Before retiring, he was a self-employed truck driver.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Edward and Heather Fletcher of Tifton; one brother, Gerald Fletcher of Tifton; four sisters, Trisha Mullis and Ruby Fletcher, both of Enigma, Virginia Clark of Nashville and Evelyn Dimaggio of Jacksonville, Florida; six grandchildren, Ronnie Fletcher, William Fletcher, Jonathan Lamb, Kayla Fletcher, Alissa Fletcher and Bianca Lamb; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Shadrick, Trenton Fletcher, Braxton Lisk, Daveruss Craine and Anaken Craine.
