Pamela Theresa Nobrega, age 64, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, July 17, 2023.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 3, 1959, she was a loving daughter of the late Americo and Edith (Hague) Nobrega. She was the dear sister of Ronald Nobrega and his late wife Claire of Smithfield, Rhode Island, William Nobrega and his wife Marilyn of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Charlotte Nobrega of Mansfield and the late Leonard Nobrega and his wife Mary of Melbourne, Florida and the late Lynne Nobrega. She leaves behind many cousins and 11 nieces and nephews.
Pam grew up in Attleboro and following the death of her mother, along with her sister Charlotte, came to live in Mansfield in October of 2007. She became an adopted cherished family member of Lauren Topping and Lauren’s children Alexandra Rackette and Chelsea Rackette, as well as Colleen Somers, Sean Somers and Kiera Somers, all of Foxborough.
After moving to Mansfield, Pam settled into a life of new adventures such as vacationing in Newport, Rhode Island, Maine and at the family cottage in Onset. Pam enjoyed dining out, concerts on the Mansfield Common, fairs, yard sales, movies, reading, playing solitaire, listening to 60’s music, swimming and bingo. She danced beautifully, was an exceptional artist, loved drawing, water-colors and previously attended day programs at the Attleboro Enterprise.
Pam was a beautiful lady both inside and out and was always ready to give us a little hug. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who had the unique pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, July 27th from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Thursday at 12:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro.
