Obituary

Peabody: Ida M. (Dion) Kiley age 93 of 18 Walnut St., Peabody, died Friday at the NSMC / Salem Hospital, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Kiley. At the time of his death, the couple had shared 61 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Zarila (Roy) Dion. As a young woman she once worked for the former CBS Hytron of Salem. Ida was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was especially close to her 4 sisters, whom she considered her best friends. She and her husband moved to Peabody from Salem in 1980. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Peabody.
Mrs. Kiley is survived by a son: Edward F. Kiley of Georgetown, Retired from Peabody Fire Department, a daughter: Dorothy M. Bedard of Nashua, NH, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by 4 sisters: Lauria Demeule, Lillian Letourneau, Florence Spears & Leoda Banville, and 4 brothers: Rene, Arthur, Alfred & Henry Dion.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at 9:30 am, from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem, [Rt. 114 / 1-A] followed by her funeral mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody (behind City Hall) at 11 am.
