Victor Rivera, 78 of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at his home. He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico on January 30, 1945 and was a son of the late Octavio Colon and the late Castula (Cruz) Colon. He was raised in Puerto Rico, where he attended the area schools.
Victor was employed at Joan Fabrics as a machinist for over 15 years before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Victor is survived by his children, Carmen Colon of Hudson, NH, Victor Malaret of Lowell, Niome Griffithkrauskopf of Tacoma, Washington; and his stepchildren, Oswaldo Robert Joubert of Lowell, and Julie Joubert of Lowell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Victor was predeceased by his stepdaughter, the late Alice Joubert.
