Obituary

Worcester- Anthony Odorski, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in Rose Monahan Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He leaves three children- Donna and her husband Donald MacLean of Paxton, Thomas and his wife Alexandra Odorski of Worcester, and David and his wife Diane Odorski of Woodstock, CT; sisters-in-law Dorothy Pallangury and Shirley Odorski; 12 grandchildren- Lindsey, Richard, James, John, Evoxthia, Kevin, Jennifer, Brian, Anna, Evan, Ryan, and Tyler; a niece Statia and a nephew Joseph. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Nancy L. (Pallangury) Odorski; a daughter Sandra Russo; and 3 brothers- Edward, Joseph, and Richard Odorski.

Tony was born in Worcester, son of the late Ignacy and Sophia (Veronick) Odorski. He attended Commerce High School and worked as a maintenance engineer at the Federal Courthouse, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed going on Sunday drives with his wife, reminiscing about cars, going to York and Hampton beaches and going out for coffee. “Ninnie” as he was affectionately known, loved his family and friends, his dog Teddy, and his old neighborhood of Kelley Square and Green Island.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice or Worcester Animal Rescue League.
