Carol A. (Richard) Quitadamo, 70 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13th at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her two sons, Richard Quitadamo and his wife, Herlyvette Morciglio of Worcester and Matthew Quitadamo and his wife, Christine Biscotti-Quitadamo of West Boylston; three brothers, Charles Richard and his wife, Judy, Donald Richard and his lifelong partner, Kathy, and Robert Richard and his wife, Pauline all of Florida; four grandchildren, Ceasar, Rafael, Matteo and Sofia; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Donna Edwards-Whalen; and her loving cat, Willow.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Charles E. and Elsie G. (Cove) Richard. Carol graduated from Saint Peter-Marian high school and then received her associate degree in business administration from Quinsigamond Community College. She worked as a secretary for various companies and was a stay-at-home mom for many years.
Carol loved to crochet for her family, especially for her grandchildren. She was also a lover of animals, cats in particular. She enjoyed studying her family’s genealogy and reading. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her family.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carol’s name to the People for Animals League (PAL), 6 Kingsbury Rd, Spencer, MA 01562.
