Obituary

LIMINGTON- Laura Vogel Lehman, age 65, went to be with the Lord on July 15 after a short illness. A
daughter of Constance Babb and Gerald Vogel, she was born on Feb. 8, 1958, in Sanford, Maine.

She worked for several years as a CNA in nursing homes and then as a Home Health Aid. It was the
most fulfilling job she had- she didn't even like to refer to it as a job because of how much fun she had
doing it. She made so many wonderful friends, a lot of them she never forgot.

She spent some time living in Michigan with her family and a few years in N.J. starting her own family.

From a very young age, she had a love for Elvis, spending whatever money she had on his most recent
record. After waiting her whole life to see him, she finally got her ticket, only to be heartbroken when
he passed away the day before.

She loved listening to music, watching old Westerns, and all her pets. She also loved spending time
at the ocean or lake.

She was a 14yr. survivor of breast cancer, she credits her doctor in Bridgton for the early detection
and amazing care he gave her.

Most of all she was a devoted mother and nannie. She gave her whole heart and soul into loving her family. She
was a beautiful, strong woman who took care of so many people and will be missed beyond measure.

She leaves behind 2 daughters, Alexis Lehman and her partner, Nick Mitchell of Parsonsfield, Brittany
Cole and her husband Jon of Baldwin, three grandchildren, Nevaeh, Vaida, and Matthew. Also, her
partner of 30 years, Scott Douglas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Nikki Stuart of Bridgton, ME, and Betsy Knox of Biddeford,
ME, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her best friend, loyal companion, Baby, her Chiweenie
who brought her so much joy and happiness.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 28 from 4 - 5 PM, followed by 5 PM service at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. Deacon Paul Lisandrello will officiate. Following the service, a reception will be held at her daughter Brittany's home, 593 Pequawket Trail, Baldwin.
