Catherine M. (Lee) Niedzwiecki of South Boston passed away peacefully on Monday July 10th, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Cathy was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Niedzwiecki and devoted mother to Billy, Brian, Brendan, Brooke, and Brett. She was the cherished grandmother to Destiny, Brendan Jr., Beau, Donovan, and Bella.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents James “Jimmy” Lee and Alice Marks, and her brother Lawrence (wife Theresa) Lee of South Boston. She is survived by her siblings William (late wife Jayne) Lee of South Boston, Alice (husband John) Bartorelli of Brockton, Ronald (wife Carmen) Randolph of Canton, and Lisa Randolph of Brockton. She is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cathy had a caring and beautiful soul. She was an amazing caretaker to not only her family and friends, but to anyone that needed help. She devoted her life to caring for others.
Visitation will be held at Casper’s Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, in South Boston on Monday July 17th from 4pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday July 18th at 10am at St. Monica’s Church, 331 Old Colony Ave, in South Boston, followed by a funeral procession to Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
