WORCESTER___Walentyna (Bialonozka) Urban, 90, of Worcester passed away Tuesday July 11, 2023 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. Her husband, Stanislaw Urban passed away in 2000.
Walentyna leaves her daughter, Danuta Bousbouras and her husband, Yannis of Uxbridge; her son, Jerry Urban and his wife Diane of Millbury; four grandchildren, Christopher Bousbouras, Michael Urban, Jerry Urban, Jr., and Christopher Bergstrom, seven great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Nicholas, Alice, Sadie, Annie, Spencer and Max. Walentyna also leaves a sister, Wladyslawa Kawalec and several nieces and nephews. Walentyna was born in Lokno, Poland, a daughter of the late Szymon and Aleksandra (Uszkiewicz) Bialonzka and has lived here for many years. Walentyna was also predeceased by her brother, Jan Bialonozka.
Mrs. Urban was a machine operator 21 years for Wirefab, Inc and retired in 1995. Walentyna was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Walentyna loved spending time with her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving “Babcia” and will be sorely missed by many. She loved to cook, enjoyed watching the PGA golf and was an avid Red Sox fan. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 4 West for their support and kindness during this difficult time.
The funeral will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Friday July 14, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
