Obituary

Paul B. McInnis 44, of Franklin and Medway, passed away, unexpectedly Monday July 10, 2023.

He was the cherished son of Donna M. (Fontaine) Gavel of Franklin and Paul V. McInnis of Attleboro and his true Dad in all meaning Dana Gavel of Franklin.

Paul was the beloved father of Jaron and Kylin McInnis. He was also a loving Dad to Colby Wagner and Jayli Moulton. He is also survived by his brothers, Sean McInnis and Dana Gavel, his sister Nicole Gavel, also the cherished grandson of Joan Fontaine, the late Matthew Fontaine and his late uncle Bruce Fontaine and paternal grandparents Geraldine McInnis and the late James McInnis.

He also leaves behind his great friend and mother of his children Kelly Bonetti and his loving and compassionate girlfriend Kelly Russell, who has been a rock in the support system for Paul and his family for the past few years. In addition, his aunt and dear friend Jody Tofani, whom shared a special bond with throughout his life, as well as her three loving daughters and all aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cannot go without mentioning his dear best friends Kevin Fritz, Scott MacDonald, Lou Gasbarro, Rick Gibeault (Cuz), Danny Gargiulo, Jason Warner, Kevin Hurd and the late Peter Daley. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and peers.

Paul devoted much of his life helping everyone around him with anything they needed. His compassion and generosity illuminated the world around him. His loves and interests include fishing, fixing cars, taking pride in his meticulous art of brick laying and is you know Paul, his love for playing guitar and his love for music, in particular Guns N Roses. Above all, he held his kids so very close to his heart.

What a legacy, what a life. We invite each of you to keep Paul alive in your hearts.

This is not goodbye, but a "So Long" until we meet again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Monday July 17th, at 10AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin at 11AM.

Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5PM at the funeral home.
