Andrew J. Tringali, age 88, of Medford passed away on Sunday, July 9th, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Gaetana (Costa) Tringali. Andrew lived for many years in Stoneham before returning to Medford, and was employed as an electrical engineer at Raytheon throughout his career. He was an avid bowler and golfer, and also loved to travel.
Andrew was the dear brother of Frances Tringali of Medford, Angelo Tringali and his wife Barbara of Wilmington, Robert Tringali and his wife Dianne of Medford, the late Joseph Tringali and his surviving wife Marie of Saugus, and the late Salvatore (Jay) Tringali. He was the loving uncle of Michelle Sullivan and her husband Daniel, Marie-Elena Edwards and her husband Robert, Stacey Chapman and her husband Brian, Andrea Tringali and her husband Jonathan Fichera, Daniel Tringali and his wife Nicole, Dianne Elwell and her husband John, Joseph Tringali, Donna Wallace and her husband Phil, Peter Tringali and his wife Laura, Melanie Tringali and her husband James Murdock, Brenda MacDonald and her husband Vincent, Marcie Maffeo and her husband Steven, Tracey Marley and her husband Robert, and Mark Tringali and his wife Zarah. Andrew is also survived by 36 loving great nieces and nephews, and several great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, July 14th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family on Thursday, July 13th from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
