John J. “Jack” Feeley, 91, of Worcester died Sunday, July 9th in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He leaves his wife of 14 years, Margaret L. (Wixted) Sullivan Feeley; and her children, Kathleen McCullough and her husband, William of Worcester, Patricia Sullivan of Auburn, and Timothy Sullivan and his wife, Denise of Arlington, TX. He was known as “Grandpa Jack” to Kelsey Crew and her husband, Alex, Thomas McCullough and Michelle Macken, Austin Sullivan, Nikolette Lisenbe, and William Sullivan and his wife, Breanna; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife of 47 years, Ann M. (McNamara) Feeley; and two brothers, James and Richard Feeley.
He was born in Worcester the son of James L. and Anna M. (Donohue) Feeley and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He worked for the City of Worcester Police Department for 34 years, retiring in 1994 as the Deputy Chief. Jack was a devout member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. He was an accomplished woodcarver.
His funeral is Thursday, July 13th with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. There are no calling hours. Burial will private. Please omit flowers.
