Robert S. Weber, 85, of Providence, died on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital Providence.
Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Mary (Drugac) Weber. He served for three years in the US Marine Corps.
He was employed in management for Shepard Dept store of downtown Providence until its closing.
Robert’s passions were music and all New England sports teams.
He is survived by his many nieces and nephews who so fondly loved him: Tony Angelone of North Scituate, Tommy Angelone of Foster, Sharon Greenless of Warwick, Linda Weber of West Warwick, Robert Weber of Narragansett, Charlene Nowotny and her husband Chuck, of Huntington Beach, California, Barbara Russell and her husband Dennis, of Alta Loma, California, Billy Weber and his wife Vicky, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Paul Weber and his wife Jean, of Essex, Vermont. He was the twin brother of the late Mary Angelone, and brother of the late Joseph Weber, Bill Weber, and Beatrice Weber.
Relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 12th at 10am in St. Phillip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, R.I. 02828. Burial immediately following in Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, R.I. Flowers respectfully omitted.
