Sandra J. (Bauer) Trufant, 77, of Medway died peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Willows-Whitney Place Retirement Community in Medway.
Born in Waltham on May 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Bauer and Corinne (Van Ducen) Squires.
Sandra was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1964.
She worked as an administrative assistant at various financial services companies for many years. She had also worked at the Medway Town Hall and frequently volunteered to work the Medway voting polls.
Sandra enjoyed playing cards, going to the beach and reading. She loved bowling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Peter S. Trufant and his wife Kristin of Medway and Patrick S. Trufant and his wife Holly of Franklin. She was the mother of the late Paul Scott Trufant.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jordan, Kaylin, Aidan, Mackenzie, Reilly, Devin, Mason, PJ and Kassie.
Sandra was the sister of the late Gayann Wilkinson, Robert Bauer and David Bauer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 24 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will take place privately at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
