Randall Lynn Strickland, lovingly known as Randy, lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and pranks until he rode off into the sunset on June 27, 2023, following a brief illness. At the age of 69, he left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is now in the arms of his Savior.
Randy's heart belonged to his beloved wife, Valorie (Shafer) Strickland, who shared in his joy and mischief throughout their journey together. He also leaves behind his son Justin Strickland, stepsons John Morris, Dustin and Cody Pfister, stepdaughter Elizabeth Schlenker, and Cassandra Hovland. His sisters, Karen Diener and Kathee Hirsch, and his brother Steven Strickland will fondly remember, and miss, their brother. Randy's nieces Ashlee, Emylee, Hunter, and Shelby, as well as his nephew Jason, will forever cherish their uncle's playful spirit. Let us not forget Randy's step-grandchildren, Kathryn, and Zachary, who brought an extra sparkle to his eyes. And of course, we must remember Randy's sweet furbabies, Soleil and Cozmo, who were always by his side.
Randy's journey began in Richland, Washington, where he discovered his love for camping, fishing, and hunting. But his true passion in life was motorcycles, and he could often be found tearing up the roads with his buddies, mischief brewing in their wake.

After graduating from high school, Randy enlisted in the Army, proudly serving his country for four years. Upon returning home, he embarked on a forty-year career as a Nuclear Chemical Operator at the Hanford Site. Randy's dedication to his work was unwavering, and he made many lasting friendships along the way.
In July 2017, Randy entered the delightful realm of retirement, where he truly embraced the good life. Each day, he would embark on morning walks in Columbia Park with his "wifee" and dogs, soaking in the beauty of nature. From there, it was off to the golf course, where he would butt heads with the Gangsome, always striving for that elusive hole-in-one. And whenever the call of adventure beckoned, Randy, Valorie, and their furbabies hitched up the RV and embarked on countless camping trips across Oregon and Washington, creating cherished memories and sharing many laughs along the way.
As Randy rides off into the great beyond, he is reunited with his parents, James and Gerry Strickland, and countless other relatives who have gone before him. Surely, Heaven will be filled with laughter and pranks now that Randy has arrived.
While our hearts may be heavy, let us remember Randy with a smile and share stories of his playful antics. He taught us that life is meant to be enjoyed, that laughter is the best medicine, and that mischief is the spice that makes it all worthwhile. Farewell, dear Randy, and may your spirit forever ride free.
