James N. Girouard, age 68, of Danvers, formerly of Quincy, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2023 at New England Homes for the Deaf. James was the son of the late Norman J. and Jeannette (Casey) Girouard.
He was born in Gardner and raised in Gardner, Randolph and Brockton. James was educated at the Boston School for the Deaf and American School for the Deaf. For many years he was employed at Work, Inc. in Dorchester.
James was a friendly, kind and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed word puzzles, adult coloring books and shopping.
James is survived by his brothers John Girouard (and his wife June) of Brockton, Joseph Girouard of Gaithersburg, MD and Jack Girouard of Brockton. He was the uncle of Edward Girouard of Brockton.
Visitation will be held at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton, on Friday, July 14 from 9:30-10:15, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30am. Following the funeral mass, James will be buried in Calvary Cemetery.
