Henry P. “Hank” Fleury AKA Daddio
Accomplished Musician & Retired Metal Finisher


TEWKSBURY: Henry P. “Hank” Fleury, age 78, recently of Hudson, NH, a former longtime resident of Tewksbury and member of the Fr. Francis Coppens Council # 4336 Knights of Columbus, passed away at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Sheehan) Fleury, who passed away on April 29, 2007.

Hank was born in Lowell on September 17, 1944, the son of the late Henry J. Fleury and the late Rita (Pare) Fleury.

He was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury Public Schools.

Hank worked as a sheet metal finisher for several area companies including the C.M.P. Company and Final Phase Engineering. In addition, Hank was known as a “Jack of All Trades” and could fix, fabricate, repair, or construct nearly any home remodeling or improvement project.

An accomplished musician, Hank performed as lead singer and drummer for “Highlight Four”, the “Chessmen” as well as “Three’s Company” as well as many other musical projects.

He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Debbie and her husband Jim at Lake Sebago in Maine, where he spent time with his family and made many great friends, while treasuring the tranquility and beauty of the lake.

Hank was the father of the late Wayne P. Fleury, who passed away December 7, 2012 and his surviving wife Laura, of Tewksbury, Debra A. Surette and her husband Jim, with whom Hank resided, in Hudson, NH, Nancy E. Fleury, of Dracut, and Marc D. Fleury, of Tewksbury. He was the grandfather of Bryan and Kyle Fleury, Stephanie Willey, Alyssa Gaffney, the late April Gaffney, Emily Babcock, Caleigh, Mason and Tristan Fleury and Great Grandfather to Leo, Luke, Vera, James, and JJ. Also the brother of the late Andrew Fleury and his surviving wife Mary, of Tewksbury, Dennis Fleury and his wife Sharon, of Greenville, NH and Donald Fleury and his wife Linda, who reside in Scotland. He leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Calling hours are Thursday, July 13th, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, immediately followed by funeral services to be held at the funeral home.
