Pamela A. Lussier

TEWKSBURY: Pamela A. (Preston) Lussier, age 76, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, formerly of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of Paul J. Lussier, with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 25, 2023.
Born in Melrose on September 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Stanley A. Preston and the late Elizabeth M. (DeCecca) Preston.
Pamela was raised in Wakefield, attended Wakefield schools, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1964. Following high school, she attended the former Lowell State Teacher’s College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1968.
She was employed for 33 years by the Tewksbury School Department, having taught at the Heath Brook, Dewing and the former Center school until her retirement.
Pamela was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lovingly doted on her family.
She enjoyed coloring in the hallway and watching cartoons with her granddaughter Sophie, shopping at TJ Max & Marshalls, watching The View, gardening, snuggling with her pets and watching the birds and wildlife that visited her yard.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Paul Lussier, Jr and his significant other Tricia, of Tewksbury, and Gregg Lussier and his wife Tiffany Jack, of Billerica: granddaughter, Sophie Rose Lussier, of Billerica: brothers-in-law, Richard Lussier and his wife Carolann, of Land O’Lakes, FL and William Lussier and his wife Christine, of Hooksett, NH: sister-in-law, Mary Lussier Cushing and her late husband David, of Beverly. She also leaves several nieces, a nephew, grandnieces, and grandnephews as well as extended Pennsylvania family members Fred and Janet Willis, the late Katrina Willis and Lehman family.
Calling hours are Monday, July 10th from 9-11 a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte, 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Rd., Tewksbury. Flowers are welcome, or as an alternative, donations can be made in her memory to the
