Curtis R. Aikens, 64, died on July 5, 2023 at Granite VNA Hospice House following a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Nashua, the son of Nute Merrill and Cecile (Petrin) Aikens.
He was the center store manager at Hannaford Bros., where he enjoyed working with his Hannaford family.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching New England Sports teams.
Family members include his wife of 40 years, Judith (Belanger) Aikens of Manchester, two sons; Steven Aikens and his fiancée, Melanie Mikels of Pennacook, Kyle Aikens and his wife, Kelly of Peterborough, two grandchildren; Cody Aikens, Natalie Aikens, and Cody’s mother and Steven’s former wife, Krystle Crossman of Tampa FL. He also leaves three brothers; James Aikens, Paul Aikens, Stanley Aikens, one sister; Marie Aikens and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A celebration of life will take place at 7 pm, during calling hours.
