Mildred E. “Millie” (French) Cacicio passed away at home after a brief illness. She was 85. She was the daughter of the late Elsie Ford, French, Deveau and John Deveau.
Millie was raised in Charlestown and Somerville. She attended Charlestown High School, where she proudly graduated with high honors. Millie lived her married years in Medford and Stoneham. She enjoyed a long and successful career with United Business Services. She worked as the supervisor of billing. As an adult, Millie went back to school and in 1985 earned her degree in business from Fisher College. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. Millie loved to shop and kept up with the latest trends in fashion. She travelled the world with her circle of friends, traversing all of Europe and the United States. In her final years Millie moved to Tewksbury where she had the wonderful support of her family and died peacefully in their care.
The beloved wife of the late Augustino “Gus” Cacicio, she was the sister of the late Sandra M. Pellegrino and her surviving husband Frank J. Pellegrino of Tewksbury. She also leaves many devoted nieces, nephews and friends
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday morning, July 8th from 10-11 AM. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
