Mrs. Nellie “Helen” (MacBride) Tyree, age 102, a five year resident of Florida, formerly of Medford, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on November 15, 1903, a daughter of the late Malcolm and Isabelle (Rogers) MacBride. Mrs. MacBride was the beloved wife of the late Charles R. Tyree, whom she married on September 14, 1935. Mrs. Tyree enjoyed crocheting and loved living near the ocean in Florida for the past five years.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends were most welcomed. Visitation was Wednesday, prior to the service, from 9 to 10 AM. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
