Joan M Jackson, 89, of Pembroke Ma (formally of Londonderry NH, Ellenton, FL and Weymouth MA) passed away after a long illness on Sunday, July 2nd at home with family by her side.
Born in Lawrence, MA to Augustine and Harriet Connors. She was the wife of the late Glenn Jackson. Loving mother of Deborah (Jackson) Gordon of Radcliff KY, Michelle Jackson of Derry, NH, and Linda (Jackson) McWalter of Pembroke, MA.
She is also survived by her sister Anne (Connors) Watson of Columbia, MD. Her sister the late Harriett Bilodeau and brother the late Robert Connors. 7 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren. 3 Nieces and one Nephew.
Joan was a stay-at-home mom raising her three girls. She enjoyed camping, bowling, playing solitaire, knitting and cruises. She loved watching the Price is Right, Family Feud, Golden Girls, and Everybody Loves Raymond. She was a doll collector and loved thrifting.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday July 11th at 10 AM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, (Rte. 58 @ the rotary), Whitman, burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday July 10th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
