Anna C. Verolini passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton on Wednesday, June 28th. She was 92.
Born and raised on Hanover Street in Boston’s North End, Anna and her family lived in East Boston before settling in Medford over 60 years ago. Anna enjoyed a long career with a Boston law office as an administrator and accountant. She enjoyed a wonderful social life. Anna was active with the Santa Maria Lodge of the Sons of Italy in Medford and also was very active at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Medford. She and her sisters loved to travel. They went on many adventures across the world. They visited all of Europe, travelled to Asia and across the Pacific as well as throughout the United States. Anna looked forward to sharing stories of their experiences with her cherished nieces and their families.
The beloved daughter of the late Felice and Carmella (Tortorella) Verolini, Anna was the devoted sister of Theresa Crafts of Avon and the late Rose and Mary Verolini, formerly of Medford. She was a loving aunt to Patricia Montgomery and her husband Boyd of Texas, Diane Quimby and her husband Gary of Raynham, Karen Saunders and her husband Rick of Raynham and Valerie Murphy and her husband Peter of Walpole. Anna also leaves her many dear great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, July 6 from 10 – 11 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
