Elizabeth A. ‘Betty' (Davis) Richert 90. Passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 in her own home.
Her husband of 38 years Marvin J. C. Richert died August 4, 1994.
She leaves 2 daughters, Laurie Morris and her husband Dan of Oklahoma City and Jean Szela and her
Husband Duncan of Dudley, 2 grandchildren, Justin and his wife Samantha of Scotsdale. AZ., and Sarah of Los Angeles, CA.
Betty was born in Worcester, MA. March 1,, 1933 a daughter of the late E. Vernon and Myra ( Sheldon) Davis and lived in the
Webster-Dudley area all her life (61 in Dudley).
She was predeceased by sisters Virginia and Verna, Betty was a graduate of Bartlett High School and Salter Secretarial School.
A member of the United Church of Christ, Federated, a 50 + year of the Order of the Eastern Star(Nokomis Chapter) and (Clara Barton Chapter)
She enjoyed gardening, cross stitch, bird watching and especially being with her family.
Betty was a medical secretary and the worked at Dudley Park n’Shop retiring to watch her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11 AM in the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church S., Webster, immediately followed by burial
In North Cemetery, Oxford.(PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to :United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church St., or Southern Worcester County Hospice, P.O.Box368, Webster, MA. 01570.
